Change Your Clocks; Recharge Your Batteries

We get it, we get it! Life; It’s exhausting. Between soccer practice, daily errands, work and the weekly trips to the grocery store, who has the energy for bedroom play? Well this week, we have a few tips, tricks and remedies to recharge your batteries and keep them going and going and going…

Exercise

Taking care of yourself is probably the most important measure you can take for your sexual health. Exercise increases blood flow and circulation to all parts of the body, including your sexual organs. Not to mention the mass amount of endorphins or “feel good” chemicals being released, you’ll also look good and feel better which is the absolute best way to increase your libido naturally.

Aphrodisiacs

Now, we make no clam to “magic love potions” but Aphrodisiacs have been used for decades to heal, relax, revitalize and energize. Chocolate (our favorite sweet treat) helps to release serotonin, the feel-good chemical that helps to set the mood.  And did you know the scent of vanilla excites a woman? Why not try vanilla scented massage oils to help boost sexual desire.

Massage

Massage techniques can do wonders for sexual arousal especially if you’re feeling run down do to stress levels, anxiety or tension. Massage candles are a great way to add ambiance as well as incorporate aphrodisiacs scents plus most massage candles are infused with pheromones, a chemical released from the body that attracts the opposite sex.

Herbal Supplements
The list of herbs and minerals linked to sexual activity is endless! Damiana has long been claimed to have a stimulating effect on the libido as well as being particularly useful in re-stimulating the sexually exhausted. Guarana has been linked to increased memory retention, physical endurance as well as lowering the body’s inhibitions, similar to alcohol, but without impairing judgment.

Put Your Petal to the Metal

Right off the bat, metal can be slightly intimidating but here at Studio 21, we say, “Don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it!”

Metal has all the benefits of glass plus more! It’s nonporous, hypoallergenic and Silicone Lube friendly. But one of our favorite tricks is temperature play. As with glass, metal can be heated or cooled and not just with a lubricant but with warm or cool water. Women are generally more receptive to cooler temperatures, so try putting your metal in the refrigerator or freezer. Wanna warm things up? Just pop that bad boy in a bowl full of some warm water (make sure it’s not too hot as your metal will heat up rather quickly.)

Another cool thing about metal is the durability; most metal is made from a solid piece of surgical stainless-steel so even if you drop it, it won’t break! Making this a lifelong toy box companion.
